With roots in Australiaʼs cutting-edge aesthetics industry, Auset honed her craft in Dermal Science, after graduating in the top one percentile of her cohort with High Distinction honours and teaching in Sydney for the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science (AACDS) while serving as both head trainer and lead clinic practitioner. Her work extended behind the scenes into research and development for leading laser light technology and cosmeceutical companies, shaping innovations in skin health.
On the global stage, she became a sought-after keynote speaker for USANA Health Science, sharing platforms with icons such as Larry King and Dr. Oz and her voice has reached audiences worldwide through contributions to international magazines and outlets like the Doctor Oz Show blog—where science meets the poetry of skinʼs renewal.
After returning to Canada in 2010, Auset founded one of Vancouverʼs first Natural Skin Care clinics, serving as Vancouver's "Hollywood North" anti-aging and regenerative treatment centre after pioneering a nine-month skin rehabilitation program rooted in elemental timing and the innate intelligence of the skin. She went on to develop a nature-inspired “skin regeneration patent” that successfully addressed some of the most aggressive agents of skin aging.
In 2015, Auset experienced a deeply profound shamanic experience which took her on a path to study the natural world. She began her studies in the complimentary fields of Bioenergetics, Western Herbal Medicine, Ayurvedic Life Sciences and East Asian Antiquity Medicine. Gaining multiple certifications and over three decades of study and training across diverse disciplines she now offers education and consulting on the matters of energy and spirit, helping to guide people through the ebbs and flows of life, with a basis primarily in Classical Chinese Medicine, Daoist Alchemy and Western Phytomedicine.
In 2019, Auset founded White Wood Herbs, a sanctuary dedicated to earth-based indigenous medicines, and opened the Alchemical Yoga Studio & Earth Medicine Healing Lounge—a sacred space where body, mind, and spirit could come into alignment through movement, stone, ritual, and plant wisdom.
When the tides of the pandemic reshaped the world, Auset and her family were called back to the West Coast, returning to the elemental embrace of ocean and forest. They eventually made their home on Vancouver Island, where White Wood Herbs continues to evolve.
After raising her young family and completing a three-year sabbatical devoted to advanced study and immersion in Daoist healing arts and shamanic "spiritual" hypnotherapy, she returns to clinical practice with an expanded framework of care. Those years became a sacred passage—an initiatory descent into advanced alchemy, meditation, and psycho-spiritual medicine.
What she now offers emerges as living medicine: a weaving of earth, stone, and plant wisdom that awakens remembrance, restores balance, and guides others into the timeless currents of body, spirit, and soul. As a result, this embodied immersion brings together a more comprehensive, evidence-informed, and lineage-rooted approach—designed to address both complex clinical concerns and their deeper psycho-spiritual patterns.
